CARAT
Carat refers to weight and therefore the size of a diamond. One carat is divided into 100 points. Size is the most obvious factor in determining the value of a diamond but two
different diamonds of equal size can have very different values, depending on their cut, clarity and colour.

CUT
When a diamond is cut to good proportions, light will reflect from one facet to another
and disperse through the top of the stone, resulting in a display of brilliance and fire. Diamonds that are cut too deep or too shallow lose light that spills through the side or
bottom.
It also refers to the shape of the diamond. Popular shapes include round, princess, marquise, oval, emerald, pear and asscher. Our selection of rings and loose diamonds include all shapes. Simply choose your desired shape of stone and our expert
goldsmiths can craft the ring.

COLOUR
While most diamonds appear white, many of them display hints of colour barely visible
to the naked eye. The closer a diamond approaches colourless, the rarer and more
valuable the stone.
Colour grading starts at 'D' (the highest grade) and continues through to 'Z'. Because we aim to offer only the highest quality of diamond rings, we only stock diamonds ranging from 'D' to 'H' in colour. So you are guaranteed the best quality always.

CLARITY
A diamond's clarity is determined by the degree to which it is free from naturally
occurring inclusions. However, many are invisible to the naked eye. The fewer inclusions,
the rarer the stone. Clarity ranges from FL- IF (Flawless to internally flawless) to I1-P3 (Inclusions visible to the naked eye). We do not stock diamonds of lower clarity
gradings.
