Jewellery Care

To retain your precious jewellery in the best condition, it is important to protect it from dust, pollution, scratches and damage

Our Care Tips

- Remove your jewellery when applying perfume and lotions, or indeed, put your jewellery on after getting dressed.

Store jewellery separately so that pieces do not tangle, rub or scratch against each other; we advise storing each piece separately and to hang chains so they do not become knotted together.

Immediately rinse off any chemicals your jewellery happens to contact.

Avoid storing fine jewellery beside costume jewellery.

Cleaning Jewellery

Yellow Gold should be cleaned regularly to maintain its shine. A soft, lint free cloth or even better a gold polishing cloth is the most effective measure.

Platinum jewellery can be cleaned effectively with a mild soapy water solution and a soft bristle brush.

White Gold is created by combining pure gold with alloys. As the natural colour of white gold is a greyish colour, almost all white gold jewellery is plated with a Rhodium metal.

Rhodium brightens the colour but it does wear eventually. We advise having your white gold rings Rhodium plated approximately every two years.

Silver Jewellery can be cleaned effectively with a soft cloth or by immersing the jewellery in a silver polish solution.

Diamonds can be cleaned with soapy liquid and a soft toothbrush. Please ensure to rinse the stone and setting afterwards, to avoid a residue.

For the ultimate clean, an Ultrasonic cleaner restores Diamonds to their original brilliance aesthetic.
